The ATC-1 Chip-less Tube Cutting System is the latest addition to
our standard product line. It will de-coil, straighten, and cut
0.125" OD through 0.875" OD tubing. Part configurations are stored
as "recipes" and can easily be recalled to run a pre-set batch of
cut lengths. Recipes contain parameters such as tube OD,
wall-thickness, cut length, cutter feed rate, cut depth, and
pull-apart pressure. All of these combine to give the user great
control over cut quality and production speed. It will operate at a
rate of 30ppm for a 6.0" part length, 21ppm for a 24.0" part length,
and 14ppm for a 36.0" part length. Shorter parts are faster and
longer parts are slower due to the difference in hitch length. Cut
end quality is excellent, even with a high production rate. This is
accomplished by utilizing precise cutter control and
micro-adjustable pull apart force. In addition, the ATC-1, like all
